Wicker Park

I love tights/leggings/jeggings. They're so comfortable! I'm a fan of the non jean revolution. The dress code at my school says no, but I say yes. Leggings aren't work appropriate but I say YES. Leggings today, tights tomorrow, jeggings forever! *heavy breathing*

Today after work I met up with my friend Courtney, Diemeary and our friend Taryn who was visiting from college. He took us out to eat at Cheddars. It was my first time eating there. It was aight, the service was wack though. Our waitor definietly hated her life. Afterward we went to the park for a bit to chill.

We've had very fickle weather in the D lately. Kinda cold, super humid, sunny for an hour... *sigh*. You can wear a coat in the morning but be in your tank by 4pm, gotta love Texas.

Today I attempted to get rid of old clothes I didn't wear anymore and it was a complete and utter fail. I went to Platos Closet with my friend Brooke and they only took a tenth of the clothes I brought in and I ended up making a whopping $13.45! They didn't even take the pieces I thought were "best"! After that defeat I thought I'd take vengence upon the first store and take the rest of my clothing to their competitor Buffalo Exchange. They're known for giving better offers on your clothes, especially if they're in good condition, as javascript:void(0)mine were (some not even worn). After a a 25 minute drive that took 45 due to traffic we finally arrived at the second Consignment store downtown and wasn't allowed to take part in the exchange because my license was expired. Please cue the violins.

After all that dissapointment and wasted gas I needed to undwind with a few good films. Brooke and I got some chinese food, picked up my other friend Alice and decided to undwind with a movie night. We watched an Indpendent film I had been dying to see, "The Strange Thing About The Johnsons". It's an incredibly twisted movie. To be honest, anything I say won't do the film justice, you just have to watch it. Here's the trailer...

Tardy for the Party

I meant to post this the other day but obviously Blogger thinks its Tumblr and was down for like 2 days. This past week has been very productive. My sister is back from school for the summer and I couldn't be happier! On this particular day I went to Yogurt Zone w/ my friend Jannah and chilled with her until I had to go to Powderpuff practice. Just an FYI it's incredibly difficult to use the bathroom when wearing a jumper.

Dope Dealin' Wizard

-Today was "interview attire" day in my marketing class. It's too hot for a blazer or longsleeved button up so I wore that.

-I love/hate my forehead.

Tonight I went to my friend's birthday dinner at Sushi Tokyo & had a great time. No one brought a camera so this is all you get.

Life Smife

I've become such a boring person. I buy clothes but have no place to wear them. Hopefully this will all change since it's starting to warm up here in the D and I'm finally whippin'(driving) through these streets. My current weekly routine consists of going to school, going to work, doing homework and watching movies I get in the mail from Netflix, watch on Instant or rent "New-er" ones from Red Box in between deliveries. I bought some new nail polish from American Apparell the other day and I'm really happy with the way it looks. I painted my nails that gray up there with golden flake polish from CVS on the top. Swag.

Feels Good to be Home

Homecoming '10. It was so rad. I had a great time. I WOULD post a slew of photos from that night, but I barely took any. My dress is from Nasty Gal & my shoes from a shoe store in my local mall.

Sweetheart

I have this hot new neighbor. A single white Dad. He has an adorable daughter and they recently got a puppy. Sitcom esque shit. He's hot. So hot, he goes running shirtless every morning. When I'm leaving for school we always cross paths and he always says "You look marvelous sweetheart, have a good day at school" ,and it helps a smile stay on my face until I get to Physics which equals =[. Also, he refers to me as "sweetheart" whenever he sees me. -swoons-

It's homecoming week at my school. Today we have a parade and a "Burning of the M" bonfire thing going on. I'll post pictures up later. It was way more fun than I expected. I think I have a bit of school spirit now, GO CARDS!
