The official video for Frank Ocean's "Thinking About You". I really enjoyed it but I don't really understand it or think it has much to do with the song. I think he just had an idea for a video/mini film and used that song as the background but it works well. Thumbs up for creativity Mr. Ocean.

The Devil Wears Prada

How cool is this? "Prada Marfa" is a sculpture by artists Elmgreen & Dragsest. It's off U.S 90 which is 60 miles north of Marfa, Texas (hence the name). They built the structure with the intent of never reapiring it so it would eventually go back to the natural landscape of the area. A couple of things kept the initial premise from happening but it's such a dope concept. This piece of art has me itching to go on a roadtrip.

Maestro Knows

Levi Maestro. This is the first episode of his series "Maestro Knows" of which I've seen every episode to date. He's come a longggg way. I had the pleasure of speaking to Levi on the phone last summer and him saying "Yinka, wow, now that's a cool name. What does it mean?". I love his outlook on life, his passion, and how humble he is. I told him he was my ideal boyfriend & he said I needed to aim higher. Love this guy.

I'm not sure how incredibly dorky this makes me and to be honest I don't really care. If you and I are familiar with one another you'd know I love writing and I love Complex magazine. Well, a couple of days ago during the Infamous Charlie Sheen 20/20 interview I tweeted:

Then a little later, Noah Callahan-Bever, the editor-in-chief of Complex tweeted:

A little different from my original tweet, but similar nonetheless. He doesn't follow me so there's no way he would of seen my tweet anyways, but just to poke fun at the guy, I tweeted:

I was totally kidding, and didn't think he'd see or respond to the tweet, but he did and said:

GREAT MINDS. GREAT FUCKING MINDS. INSINUATING THAT HIM AND I BOTH HAVE GREAT MINDS AND THAT GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE. DAMINT GINA I MADE IT! Lol, let me calm down. In actuality that's not anything major, but I still think it's pretty cool and who knows? Maybe one day when I attempt to apply for a position at Complex I could dig this post up and show Mr. Callahan.

Drink Up

Saw these drinks at Hot Topic today. "Duff" beer from The Simpsons & "Tru Blood" from the show True Blood. I was a lil' curious as to how they taste, but didn't wanna waste my money buying something I may not enjoy, especially the Tru Blood since Eric (character from True Blood) doesn't like it! :P
